Due to C360’s rapid expansion, we are looking to recruit a Human Resources and Corporate Administrator to join the Corporate Services team.

 

The Corporate Services team provide HR, compliance/H&S, and premises support across the organisation supporting nearly ninety staff across five sites. The team ensure that all staff have what they need to fulfil their roles whilst maintaining safety and compliance.

Job Specifics

You will provide a comprehensive Human Resources administration service to C360 relating to the employment lifecycle.  This includes assisting with the recruitment process, onboarding and offboarding employees, employee relations as well as providing administrative support in other Corporate Services functions including compliance.

You will bring:

  • Solid experience of providing HR administration (equivalent to CIPD Level 3 or qualified by experience) in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and listening)
  • Proven knowledge of IT systems/databases (you may be tested)
  • Ability to work flexibly and be willing to go the extra mile
  • Confidentiality with professional behaviour and able to work in a discreet and responsible way
  • Ability to build trust with colleagues and line management
  • Methodical, organised with ability to prioritise whilst having our values at the heart of what you do

This position supports the Engagement Officers across all four quadrants of Essex and assists in supporting families as a whole unit towards improved wellbeing.  A key function of the role is liaising with the families, triaging the referrals and maintaining communication throughout.

 

You will bring:

 

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications and databases as will be managing email flow for the team and updating databases with confidential data
  • An understanding of how to work within boundaries
  • The ability to follow processes and policies in relation to recording and storing data and safeguarding
  • Project support, planning or delivery skills
  • Great interpersonal skills to work with diverse communities
  • The ability to multi-task within a dynamic, fast paced, and changing environment
  • Adaptability to deal with a service that continues to change to meet the needs of the families it supports

Responsible for the WEST Essex quadrant, the EO position supports families as a whole unit towards improved wellbeing both in person and virtually.  The EO offers signposting, advice, guidance and mentoring to families as well as robust supervision of volunteer mentors.  This position would suit someone living in West Essex, who can forge local partnerships to support local families.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

 

  • Relationship building skills to maintain and build positive connections with partners and families
  • An understanding of how to work within boundaries
  • An empathetic and resilient nature

Engagement Officer (Band 1) - Heart of Greenstead (Fixed Term)

Are you available immediately and looking for a local job based in Greenstead, Colchester?

 We are seeking someone to join our team who wants to be a part of developing community-based projects.

Engagement Officer Band 1 £22,700 – £24,981p.a. (Initially a six-month contract with potential to review).

 

Community360 is an infrastructure support charity whose core function is to further development local communities through fundraising, events, training, resource provision, partnership work, media awareness, business support and strategic level engagement.  We enable groups to engage within their communities through activities and actions that develop and maintain their self-esteem and skills, taking control of local community activities and facilities that actively contribute to a more cohesive voluntary and community sector.

 

This role is part of the Heart of Greenstead project and will involve:

 

  • Participating in and organising community engagement events
  • Liaising/meeting and listening to local people and groups based in the area
    • This is to gather views and enable people to contribute in different ways to work that may take place
  • Organising and participating in meetings. This may include attending residents’ groups and capturing conversations
  • Conducting interviews
  • Desk research to record and map any results

 

You will bring:

 

  • Experience from a similar environment, of working and delivering innovative ideas
